FREE cat neutering.
In association with the joint charity C4 scheme, we are able to offer free cat spays and castrates for people looking after strays, those on: low income, disability benefit or other forms of income support, state pension and students. Please be aware that this scheme is possible only by the generosity of donations from the public and the participating vets who are performing these procedures at or below cost so if you really can afford to pay for the procedure yourself you may be depriving someone more needy. You will be required to complete a declaration and provide some form of proof of qualification for the scheme. You will also be asked to make a small donation but this is not compulsory so don't be concerned if you are in genuine need.
Terms and conditions apply and some small additional costs may be payable. We may refuse a request for assistance if we consider it is not genuine.
Did you know that 50% of all pets are overweight with some seriously obese and that the average life expetancy of overweight dogs and cats is on average 2 years less than those with a healthy weight. Many owners don't realise that their pets are overweight and continue to feed unsuitable diets. Weigh-in Wednesday follows on from the similar scheme for humans and is a promotion during May to encourage owners to bring their pets to the clinic, get them weighed and be given free advice on dieting. Although the official promotion is for May only we offer free weight checks and weight watching courses with the nurses all the time.
Our bargain box always contains a selection of goods at reduced prices, often at or below cost. These may include treats, toys, collars, leads. grooming equipment and end of line flea or worm products.
FREE Dental checks:
We are always happy to give your pet a FREE dental check up and demonstrate how to brush their teeth.
